基于5G網(wǎng)絡(luò)的RedCap部署方案研究

摘要: RedCap作為輕量化的5G技術(shù),,是5G Rel-17 版本定義的新終端類型,可有效兼顧行業(yè)對(duì)于技術(shù)性能和部署成本的并存需求,。一般認(rèn)為,這種輕量級(jí)5G技術(shù)的核心價(jià)值在于與5G NR網(wǎng)絡(luò)優(yōu)異特性的融合,,即如何基于運(yùn)營(yíng)商已部署的5G無(wú)線網(wǎng)引入RedCap是其中的關(guān)鍵問題,。結(jié)合運(yùn)營(yíng)商無(wú)線網(wǎng)現(xiàn)狀,通過分析RedCap與無(wú)線網(wǎng)絡(luò)側(cè)相關(guān)的功能特性,,提出引入RedCap后的無(wú)線網(wǎng)組網(wǎng)部署方案,,包括無(wú)線網(wǎng)升級(jí)方案、參數(shù)配置方案以及信令開銷策略等,,可為國(guó)內(nèi)各運(yùn)營(yíng)商在方案制定及工程實(shí)施上提供參考,。

Abstract: As a lightweight 5G technology, RedCap is a new terminal type defined in the 5G Rel-17 version, which can effectively balance the industry's demand for both technical performance and deployment costs. It is generally believed that the core value of this lightweight 5G technology lies in its integration with the excellent characteristics of NR networks, and the key issue is how to introduce RedCap based on the 5G wireless network already deployed by operators. Considering the current situation of the operators' wireless networks and analyzing the functional characteristics of RedCap related to wireless network side, a wireless network deployment plan after introducing RedCap is proposed, including wireless network upgrade plan, parameter configuration plan, and signaling overhead strategy, etc. It can provide reference for domestic operators in plan formulation and engineering implementation.

引言

5G商用三年以來(lái),我國(guó)在5G網(wǎng)絡(luò)建設(shè)和5G應(yīng)用發(fā)展方面均實(shí)現(xiàn)了全面領(lǐng)先,。截至2023年10月末,,我國(guó)已建設(shè)5G基站321.2萬(wàn)個(gè)。5G應(yīng)用發(fā)展也進(jìn)入快車道,5G在各行業(yè)的場(chǎng)景中開始發(fā)揮重要作用,。在5G與行業(yè)融合應(yīng)用進(jìn)一步發(fā)展過程中,,5G全能力終端性價(jià)比低,5G終端芯片和模組成本高,、落地難等問題也越來(lái)越突出,。

RedCap(Reduced Capability)是一種輕量級(jí)5G終端,是5G Rel-17版本中定義的一種新終端類型,。在滿足5G工業(yè)物聯(lián)網(wǎng)等新應(yīng)用場(chǎng)景要求的前提下,,RedCap技術(shù)解決方案簡(jiǎn)化了終端設(shè)計(jì)復(fù)雜度,簡(jiǎn)化了5G系統(tǒng)配置和相應(yīng)的業(yè)務(wù)流程,,達(dá)到了降低RedCap終端芯片和模塊成本,、降低終端功耗的目的。5G商用網(wǎng)絡(luò)可以提供滿足中低速物聯(lián)網(wǎng)新應(yīng)用場(chǎng)景的業(yè)務(wù)需求,,有助于擴(kuò)大5G生態(tài)系統(tǒng),,使5G得到更廣泛的應(yīng)用。
