Design of tailings pond monitoring system integrating GNSS and multi-sensor

Abstract: The disaster of tailing pond causes great casualties and property losses. How to monitor tailing pond has become a problem discussed in the world. This paper uses the Linux system equipped with i.MX6ULL processor for embedded development. Through the design of embedded data acquisition system, cloud server background program and client remote monitoring program, a GNSS and multi-sensor integrated tailings pond monitoring system is completed. The system has GNSS high-precision displacement, rainfall, tilt, pore pressure and water level data acquisition, cloud platform data transmission and storage, user remote control and real-time monitoring functions. Through the field simulation experiment, the results show that the system runs stably, has high reliability, and the accuracy of each sensor meets the requirements of the standard, which meets the demand of the remote monitoring of the tailings pond.
