  這是啟動TI總部附近德克薩斯州 Richardson 晶圓制造廠(RFAB)第二階段擴(kuò)大產(chǎn)能的第一步,,該廠是業(yè)界第一個 300 mm模擬晶圓廠。
 
  RFAB 第二階段完工后,,德克薩斯北部制造廠的模擬制造產(chǎn)能將提高一倍,,創(chuàng)造營收將達(dá)約 20 億美元。TI 即將開始第二階段的工廠設(shè)備安裝,,以便根據(jù)市場需求投入運營,。第一階段與第二階段結(jié)合后,其所在面積僅占該工廠 110萬平方英尺面積的三分之二,,可為今后進(jìn)一步擴(kuò)展預(yù)留更多空間,。
 
  TI 負(fù)責(zé)公司模擬業(yè)務(wù)高級副總裁 Gregg Lowe 表示:“我們的 300 mm晶圓廠是我們模擬業(yè)務(wù)發(fā)展的重要里程碑。由于第一階段進(jìn)展順利,,一切按計劃進(jìn)行,,到今年年底將開始出貨,因此第二階段擴(kuò)展將為我們提供一個搶先起步的優(yōu)勢,,可幫助我們的客戶實現(xiàn)強(qiáng)大的模擬產(chǎn)能,,推動其業(yè)務(wù)發(fā)展。”
 
  該晶圓制造廠將采用 TI 專有工藝生產(chǎn)模擬集成電路,??蛻艨稍诎ㄖ悄茈娫挕⑸暇W(wǎng)本,、電信以及計算系統(tǒng)的各種電子設(shè)備中使用這些芯片,。
 
  RFAB 第二階段是 TI 過去兩年模擬制造擴(kuò)展系列中的最近一項:

   •2009 年第 四季度,TI 開始在達(dá)拉斯工廠,、德國弗萊辛工廠以及日本有限公司美蒲工廠安裝近 200 套制造工具,,用于 200 mm晶圓制造;
   •2009 年第三季度,,TI 宣布 RFAB 第一階段啟動,,并立即開始設(shè)備安裝,這是業(yè)界第一個 300 mm模擬晶圓制造廠,;
   •2009 年第二季度至 2010 年第二季度,,TI 新安裝 400 多臺測試儀,;
   •2009 年初,TI 在菲律賓啟動占地面積 80 萬平方英尺的Clark封測廠,,該廠擁有最先進(jìn)的封裝技術(shù),,并迅速投產(chǎn);
   •2008 年,,TI 從達(dá)拉斯一家未完全投入使用的晶圓廠重新調(diào)出 150 多套工具,,以增強(qiáng)全球其它模擬工廠的產(chǎn)能。
